The Dunkermotoren PLG 63 EP Series Planetary Gearbox is a precision-engineered, high-performance drive solution built for applications demanding quiet operation, compact design, and high torque capacity. Featuring a hardened steel ring gear and a helical input stage, this gearbox is ideal for industrial automation, robotics, medical equipment, and smart motion systems.

Available in 1-, 2-, and 3-stage configurations, the PLG 63 EP offers a wide range of reduction ratios from 3:1 to 507.5:1, supporting continuous torque up to 58 Nm and acceleration torque up to 88 Nm. The use of helical gearing in the first stage minimises vibration and noise, while the double ball-bearing output shaft delivers excellent radial (up to 800 N) and axial (up to 500 N) load capacity.

Built for long service life and reliable performance, the gearbox includes lifetime lubrication and supports both S1 (continuous) and S8 (cyclical) duty cycles. Its mechanical efficiency reaches up to 90% in single-stage versions. Optional configurations include food-grade lubrication, low-temperature grease, and IP50 protection for enhanced environmental resilience.
