The Camtec CPS-EC2000 is a 2,000W Precision AC/DC Power Supply and DIN-rail battery charger engineered and manufactured in Germany for demanding industrial, battery charging, and machine-building applications. Based on the CPS-i1500 laboratory power supply platform, it delivers laboratory-grade output quality — low ripple and noise, load regulation under ±0.05%, and response to load changes under 1ms — with unlimited capacitive load capability and a clean CC/CV curve that drops to 0V with no foldback.

Available in 48V, 60V, 110V, and 220V output configurations, the CPS-EC2000 provides continuously adjustable voltage and current via 15-turn high-precision potentiometers, with 3,000Vac forced isolation between all control interfaces and the power rails. Boost charge mode delivers a +10% current increase on demand, while built-in features include a real-time output current monitor (0–5Vdc Imon), remote sense compensation up to 2V per load line, remote shutdown, inhibit (interlock), power good relay, electronic inrush limiting, and soft start.

Thermal management is handled by controlled, stepless EBM Papst fans with auto-recovery thermal shutdown at +60°C. Parallel operation is supported for extended capacity. The unit is rated to EN61010-1, EN62368-1, EN60204-1, and EMC-compliant to EN55032 / EN61000-6-2, with an MTBF of 400,000h (IEC61709).
