At the heart of the BGA 22 dCore is a coreless rotor design, eliminating cogging torque and delivering exceptionally smooth, low‑noise operation. This makes the motor well‑suited to applications where vibration, acoustic noise or torque ripple must be minimised, such as laboratory equipment, medical devices and precision automation systems.
The motor is equipped with integrated Hall sensors for reliable rotor position detection and supports sensorless control, offering flexibility when pairing with external drive electronics. An integrated 18 cpr feedback signal provides additional position information to support accurate speed and torque control in demanding motion systems.
The BGA 22 dCore is intended for use with external motor controllers, with available settings for compatible Dunkermotoren control electronics. Power supply options include 6 VDC, 12 VDC and 24 VDC variants, allowing easy integration into low‑voltage DC systems commonly used in industrial, mobile and embedded applications.
As part of Dunkermotoren’s modular motion system, the BGA 22 dCore can be combined with planetary gearboxes, brakes and encoders, enabling tailored drive solutions without complex mechanical redesign. Electrical connection is via a 300 mm AWG 24 ribbon cable, with optional flying leads available depending on configuration.
