Medical power design lives or dies on isolation, and the Cosel PCA300F earns its place with 2MOPP isolation (4,000Vac input-to-output) and full approvals to ANSI/AAMI ES60601-1 and EN60601-1 3rd Edition. It packs that compliance into a 300W-class enclosed supply just 41mm high, so patient-adjacent electronics get certified power in a single 1U slot — in a case weighing only 0.84kg.

What sets the PCA300F apart from larger supplies is input flexibility: alongside the universal 85–264Vac range, it accepts an 88–370Vdc input, so the unit keeps running from a battery backup if the mains drops (the medical safety approvals apply to AC operation). Six output models from 5Vdc to 48Vdc — up to 60A on the 5V unit — cover everything from logic rails to motorised stages, and a built-in constant-current function with adjustment down to near 0V adds real flexibility for charging and test loads.

For uptime-critical systems, parallel and N+1 redundant operation come standard, with remote sensing, remote ON/OFF, DC-OK and alarm LEDs, and an Extended UART interface (optional PMBus) for monitoring and control. A 12V 0.1A auxiliary output feeds supervisory circuits, emissions meet EMI Class B, and the series is backed by an up-to-5-year warranty.

Safety: UL62368-1, C-UL (CSA62368-1), EN62368-1 (ITE/AV safety); plus ANSI/AAMI ES60601-1 and EN60601-1 3rd edition for medical electrical equipment, with 2×MOPP (Means of Patient Protection) input-to-output isolation. CE and UKCA marking. Optional UL508 (industrial control equipment) approval available. EMC: EN55032 Class A (PCA300F/600F), EN55011 Class A / CISPR32 Class A / FCC Class A (PCA1000F/1500F), with full IEC60601-1-2 and EN61000-4 immunity suite. Cosel provides a 5-year manufacturer's warranty on PCA series products.
Contact Powerbox for the MOPP (Means of Patient Protection) rating of the PCA300F — this determines its suitability for patient-contact or non-patient-contact medical applications.
Contact Powerbox for the output voltage models available in the PCA300F range. Cosel medical supplies typically offer a range of standard medical voltages (12V, 24V, 48V, etc.).
Contact Powerbox for efficiency data. Cosel medical power supplies are engineered for high efficiency consistent with the demands of sealed medical enclosures.
The PCA300F (300W) and PCA600F (600W) are both medical-grade Cosel supplies from the same PCA F-series family. The PCA600F is the step up for medical devices with higher power budgets.
