When the load list grows, the Cosel PCA1500F delivers a full 1500W — up to 300A on the 5V model — while still fitting a 41mm 1U rack height. It's the top of the PCA range, built for high-power medical and industrial systems that can't spare the vertical space a supply this capable would normally need, in a 140×41×203mm case weighing 2.0kg.

The medical foundation is unchanged: 2MOPP isolation (4,000Vac input-to-output) with ANSI/AAMI ES60601-1 and EN60601-1 3rd Edition approvals, across six output models from 5Vdc to 48Vdc. Because it operates close to its ceiling, output current is rated by line voltage — for example, the 24V model supplies 65A at 100Vac and 70A at 230Vac — so size your installation to the input you'll actually run. The built-in constant-current function and near-0V adjustment handle specialised and charging loads. This model runs from the universal 85–264Vac input only; DC input is not offered on the 1500W unit.

Parallel and N+1 redundant operation are standard, with remote sensing, remote ON/OFF, DC-OK and alarm LEDs, and an Extended UART interface (optional PMBus). A 12V 0.1A auxiliary output feeds supervision circuits, emissions meet EMI Class A for industrial deployment, and Cosel backs the series with an up-to-5-year warranty.

FAQs
The PCA1500F is a 1500W medical-grade AC/DC power supply from Cosel — the highest-power model in the PCA F-series — certified to IEC 60601-1 for demanding medical equipment.
Safety: UL62368-1, C-UL (CSA62368-1), EN62368-1 (ITE/AV safety); plus ANSI/AAMI ES60601-1 and EN60601-1 3rd edition for medical electrical equipment, with 2×MOPP (Means of Patient Protection) input-to-output isolation. CE and UKCA marking. Optional UL508 (industrial control equipment) approval available. EMC: EN55032 Class A (PCA300F/600F), EN55011 Class A / CISPR32 Class A / FCC Class A (PCA1000F/1500F), with full IEC60601-1-2 and EN61000-4 immunity suite. Cosel provides a 5-year manufacturer's warranty on PCA series products.
Five output voltages: 5Vdc, 12Vdc, 15Vdc, 24Vdc, 32Vdc, and 48Vdc — the same selection as the PCA300F, PCA600F, and PCA1000F. The PCA1500F at 1500W is the highest-power model in the Cosel PCA medical series. An AUX output (12V, 0.1A, adjustable 5–12V) is also included for control logic.
The PCA1500F uses a built-in forced air cooling fan in a low-profile enclosed chassis at 41mm height (1U rack compatible). Operating temperature is -20°C to +70°C. The 1U format makes it suitable for rack-integrated medical and industrial equipment. Contact Powerbox at sales@powerbox.com.au for dimensional drawings.
The PCA1500F (1500W) delivers 50% more power than the PCA1000F (1000W). Specify the PCA1500F for medical equipment with the highest continuous power demands.
High-power medical imaging, surgical equipment, diagnostic systems, and other medical devices requiring a certified internal power supply at 1500W.
